For the class of 2020

The Class of 2020 can demonstrate graduation assessment proficiency through the same alternative means as those in the Classes of 2016  through 2019, provided all students in the Class of 2020 take all end-of-course PARCC assessments for which they are eligible.  These students must participate in every PARCC assessment each year and also have a valid score. This means that  a student must not only “take”  the PARCC,  but must also do his/her best in order to graduate.

For the class of 2021 and beyond

For the Class of 2021 and thereafter, students must demonstrate proficiency on the ELA 10 and Algebra 1 assessments to meet graduation requirements. These students must  participate in every PARCC assessment each year and have a valid score (meaning a student must not only “take”  the PARCC but must also  do his/her best)
