Cynthia Ranieri
Library Media Specialist
Marshall Hill School

I am so thrilled to be starting my 5th year at Marshall Hill School!  Before coming to Marshall Hill, I was at Westbrook School part time.  I received Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Felician College in Lodi, NJ, with a certification to teach Pre-K through 8th Grade. I received my Master of Library and Information Science degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, with a certification as a School Library Media Specialist.
Before coming to West Milford, I was a 5th grade teacher in Fair Lawn, and also worked as an instructional assistant in the Wyckoff and Ridgewood Public Schools.  I live in Glen Rock with my husband, we have one daughter who will be graduating from college in May of 2018 and our older two have already graduated and are living and working in NYC.  I love to read, travel, and spend time at the beach. In 2015 I was honored to receive the NJ Governor's Educational Services Professional Award for Marshall Hill School. The best part about my job is being able to work with all of the students in the school each week, and getting to see them learn and grow throughout their years here. At Marshall Hill we work toward being a Mindful community as well as immersing ourselves in the Full Value Commitment to always Be Here, Be Safe, Be Respectful, Set Goals and Let Go and Move On. At Marshall Hill, everyone matters!
